Applications are invited from Indian Nationals with a proven track record in teaching, research and development for Faculty in the following areas:
- Renewable energy policy, economics and financing
- Solar thermal power plant design, performance, simulation and optimization
- Optical materials, coatings, solar mirror manufacture and characterization
- Solar refrigeration and air-conditioning technologies
- Smart and micro-grids
- Low cost electronic access device design and testing
- System on a chip and allied VLSI design
- Information and communication technology in Health
- Wireless sensor networks
- Smart mobility (such as electric, hybrid and solar vehicles)
- Smart homes and health monitoring of buildings
- Studies in Public Policy for ICT
- Associate Professor:
- Qualification: Ph.D. degree in relevant specialization cited above and first class at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Pay: Minimum pay of Rs. 42,800 in PB-4 of Rs.37,400 – 67,000 plus AGP of Rs. 9,500/-In PB4 : 37,000 – 67,000 + AGP 9,500
- Assistant Professor :
- Qualification: Ph.D. degree in relevant specialization cited above and first class at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Pay: Minimum pay Rs 30,000 in PB3:15,600 - 39,100 with + AGP Rs 8,000 and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt employees. On completion of 3 years of service as Assistant Professor, shall move to PB4: Rs.37,400 – 67,000 with AGP Rs.9,000.
- Project Officer
- Qualification: Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Pay: Consolidated Pay Rs.70,000 per month
- Associate Project Officer
- Qualification: Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Pay: Consolidated Pay Rs.50,000 per month
- Assistant Project Officer
- Qualification: Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Pay: Consolidated Pay Rs.35,000 per month
