Hindustan Copper Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) invites ONLINE application for Diploma Engineer Trainees (DETs) as per detail given below:-

Selection procedure:-
Eligible registered candidates will be called for Written Test comprising of 1) General Aptitude Test and 2) Subject Knowledge Test (separate for each discipline) to be conducted at various centers. The written test papers will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. However, the answer script will be in English. Hindi text is provided only for comprehension of question. Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for Personal Interview.
How to Apply:-
Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through the website www.hindustancopper.com No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Upon submitting the application, “on line”, if the same is accepted, the system will generate a unique ID/Registration number. Take a printout of your Acknowledgement Slip and send the same along with STATE BANK OF INDIA original counterfoil of the pay in slip for Application fees deposited and self attested copy of caste/ disability certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD by ordinary post to reach POST BOX NO:12005, COSSIPORE POST OFFICE, KOLKATA:700 002. These documents must reach the above Post Box latest by 14th July, 2008.
General Instruction:-
No traveling expenses will be paid for written test. Only SC/ST candidates who appear in the written test will be reimbursed journey expenses by 2nd class rail/bus by shortest route on production of proof if the centre is more than 30 kms from the address of communication. (Candidates opting for examination centre other than the centre nearest from the address of communication will not be paid TA.) SC/ST candidates may download the form, available as ANNEXURE-B TA Form and submit the same at the time of the written examination along with a self addressed envelope (size 23 cm X 11 cm) with stamps worth Rs 10/- each.
Application Fees (Bonded):-
DETs have to deposit a sum of Rs.10, 000/- (Rupees Ten thousand Only) by DD in favour of ‘Hindustan Copper Limited’ payable at Kolkata as Bond Money, which will be refunded (without interest) on completion of 6 years satisfactory service from the date joining as DETs.
