COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION [CWE] FOR RECRUITMENT IN CLERICAL CADRE IN 19 PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (as on 01.08.2011) - A pass with 60% marks in Matriculation/10th std. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates only pass OR pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern). For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates only pass OR Degree in any discipline from a recognized University

AGE (As on 01.08.2011): Minimum: 18 Years Maximum: 28 Years

HOW TO APPLY - Candidates can APPLY ONLINE only from 25.08.2011 to 24.09.2011

Mode of Payment - Candidates have the option of :

(1) ONLINE MODE of payment of requisite fees

(2) OFFLINE MODE i.e. payment of fees through NEFT enabled branches of the 13 named Banks and payment of fees through Challan in CBS branches of the 6 Public Sector Banks.

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges payable from 24.08.2011 to 23.09.2011 (both dates inclusive)

- Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates

- Rs.350/- for all others

Start date for Online Registration 25.08.2011

Last date for Online Registration 24.09.2011

Last date for Editing Application Details 26.09.2011

COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION [CWE] FOR RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES IN 19 PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the 19 Public Sector Banks.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (as on 01.07.2011) - A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age (As on 01.07.2011): Minimum: 20 Years Maximum: 30 Years

HOW TO APPLY - Candidates can apply online only from 09.07.2011 to 01.08.2011

Mode of Payment - Candidates have the option of :
(1) ONLINE MODE of payment of requisite fees
or
(2) OFFLINE MODE i.e. payment of fees through NEFT enabled branches of the 19 named Banks
