• Scientist-B : 36 posts (SC-4,ST-2,OBC-9, UR-21), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 21-27 years as on 01/07/2008, Qualification: Applicant should have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil/ Mech./ Electrical/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Metallurgy/ Chemical or Master's Degree or equivalent in Microbiology/ Food Technology/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute with not less than 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). In case of AMIE, marks obtained in both the Sections A & B taken together should not be less than 60%.

How to Apply : Candidates fulfilling the above criteria should submit their applications on
prescribed format. The completed application alongwith the attested copies of certificates relating to age, qualifications, experience, one recent passport size photograph, duly pasted on the Application, etc should reach the Director (Establishment), Bureau of Indian Standards, Manak Bhavan, 9, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002 on or before 10/09/2008.
