Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in BARC.

1. Category–I (As Scientific Assistant /B) : 09 posts (UR-5,SC-2,ST-2) (Mech. Engg. and Chemical Engg.), Qualification : Diploma/ Licentiate in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks, Age : 19-24 years., Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200
2. Category–II (As Technician/ B or C or D) : 22 posts (UR-11, SC-3, ST-3, OBC-5), Qualification : SSC or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Science and Mathematics Plus ITI certificate in Fitter/ Chemical Plant Operation of 2 years duration/ NCVT of 3 years duration. , Age : 18-22 years, Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800, 2400 or 2000.
   

Relaxation of five years in age is admissible to SC/ST and three years to OBC candidates.

Physical Standards : Minimum Height : 160 cms. , Minimum weight : 45.5 Kgs (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.)

Total Duration of Training Period : One year for Category I, and two years for Category II.

Stipend During Training : Rs. 9300/- p.m. for Category I, and Rs. 6200/- p.m for 1styear and Rs.7200/- p.m for 2nd year for Category II.

Research Fellowships in Engineering and Science disciplines under XI Plan Projects

BARC invites applications for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) and Research Associates (RAs) to be recruited under Plan Projects of BARC. The Fellows will carry out research under the guidance of senior scientists of the centre and will utilize the state-of-the-art instruments and laboratory facilities that are setup / being setup under plan projects of BARC.

How to Apply : Completed applications in on a plain paper along with photocopies of the certificates and affixing one passport size photograph on the top right corner of the application and enclose one spare photograph inside the envelope indicated at “c” above.
